Up to date Rabies and Distemper/Parvo vaccines are required. The Bordetella vaccine is preferred but not required.
Yes, to include insulin. There is no additional charge to administer medications.
It is recommended to bring the diet your dog is accustomed to on a daily basis. I can accommodate everything from dry kibble, wet food, raw diet, etc. You name it and I will do it! If applicable, please bring all medications in clearly labeled bottles with specific written instructions. You can bring beds (oversized beds are not permitted as space is limited), blankets, toys, and treats.
It is not necessary to bring bowls for water/food from home unless they are specialized bowls i.e. slow feeders. There are plenty here and they are sanitized daily. Your dog will have 24/7 access to clean, fresh water.
There are three levels in the home and all dogs sleep inside. There are several options as far as sleeping arrangements to include sleeping in the bed with one of us if preferred! There are also two "dog apartments" which are finished rooms in the basement of the home. One has two nice big windows with a view of the play yard!. The living room is always an option as well. If you prefer your dog to sleep in their crate (or "kennel") that can be accommodated, too. If needed, there are crates here that range from medium size all the way to giant breed if you don't want to bring yours from home.
Please note that dogs from different families are generally not permitted to sleep together. However, this may occur at my discretion.
Crates are only used as specified by owners prior to boarding. I understand that each dogs' needs are different and I am able to cater to those since this is my home.
This number varies depending upon several factors including number of dogs in a family, special needs dogs, and time of year. Usually not more than ten to twelve at a time.
It is preferred that they do, yes. However, it is not a requirement. Most of the time I am able to keep dogs from different families separate from one another for the duration of their stay as my home's set-up allows for this.
No, I have the ability the majority of the time to keep dogs separate if they are in-tact and you prefer for them not to have contact with other dogs.
Yes! There is not an age specific requirement.
I do my absolute best to accommodate any and all needs! I love what I do and take it very seriously. Please do not hesitate to communicate with me as to what may be a concern for you and/or your dog before, during, or after their stay.
